Noni Walker, MPH, CWC, is a multi-business owner, DJ, author, and public health leader with over 25 years of experience in academia, nonprofit organizations, and national health initiatives. She is a dedicated advocate for health equity, trauma-informed care, and access to plant medicine education for underserved communities.
Her career has spanned work with institutions such as Spelman College, Bethune-Cookman University, and the International Society on Hypertension in Blacks. For over six years, she served as Associate Director of Health at the American Kidney Fund, where she led national disease prevention initiatives, corporate and community partnerships, and public education on kidney disease. In 2012, she was elected Board Chair of the Georgia Diabetes Coalition and recognized as Employee of the Year by the American Kidney Fund.
Noni’s passion for health disparities and chronic diseases—including kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension—led her to found The Walker Exchange, a wellness promotion company, in 2011. She further expanded her impact by authoring “The F#@% Train To Freedom: A Wellness Guide to Finding Peace Within Mind, Body & Spirit”, a resource for those seeking holistic healing.
As Lead Instructor at AAA Learning Institute, Noni empowers students with the ethical, scientific, and cultural knowledge to facilitate safe, responsible, and inclusive healing experiences.
