Noni Walker is a multi-business owner, DJ and Author. She received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Florida and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethune-Cookman College (now University). Noni has spent the early part of her career in public health, within academia and non-profit organizations; including Spelman College, Bethune-Cookman University and the International Society on Hypertension in Blacks. For a little over six years, she was the Associate Director of Health at the American Kidney Fund where she implemented national disease prevention initiatives, formed corporate and community partnerships, raised funds, and increased awareness of kidney disease through education, screenings, and public speaking. In 2012, she was elected Board Chair of the Georgia Diabetes Coalition and was the 2012 “Employee of the Year” for the American Kidney Fund. Primary focus areas for much of her career were health disparities and chronic diseases, including kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension.

Her professional and personal experiences inspired her to start her first business in 2011, The Walker Exchange, a health and wellness promotion company. In 2013, she published “The F#@% Train To Freedom: A Wellness Guide to Finding Peace Within Mind, Body & Spirit” to further help people explore hidden blocks and challenges to achieving better health and wellness.

Heavily influenced by her father’s love and extensive collection of music growing up, coupled with childhood and teen years spent dancing ballet, tap, jazz and performance, Noni’s world has been grounded in music and entertainment. In 2011, she started as a promoter for the Atlanta-based Tambor Party and was introduced to international house music DJs and artists. This move also expanded her awareness and admiration of the growing number of fantastic women house DJs. In 2020, she became serious about DJing and now spins house, amapiano and open format as DJ SkyyWalker all over the country. She’s built consistent followings on multiple platforms. Passionate about helping women and children learn and have opportunities in music, she created For A Girl Global in 2023. This brand hosts parties, a podcast and DJ classes.

Manifest | Live Free was born from her passion, as a creative, to help other creatives master the business side of their art while nurturing their wellness and creativity.

Fresh off the opening of her multi-use creative studio, running a startup music label and leading various other companies and projects in media, music, wellness and business, Noni is living free, indeed.
