Accelerated Facilitator Training Program Overview
The Accelerated Facilitator Training Program is an intensive, state-approved program designed for experienced individuals seeking a comprehensive yet expedited training pathway. This 6-week program combines self-paced online learning, live online sessions, and an in-person practicum. Participants can apply to have up to 40% of core training hours waived by providing proof of relevant prior education and experience.
Program Schedule
- Dates: February 3, 2025 – March 21, 2025
- In-Person Practicum: March 17–21, 2025, in Eugene, OR (9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily)
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- GED or higher educational qualification
- Prior experience and education are required to qualify for accelerated hours. Applicants must provide documentation covering foundational topics outlined in OPF101–104.

- Cultural Equity in Relation to Services (OPF105)
- Total Hours: 12 (6 Live Online, 6 Self-Paced)
- Topics include cultural equity, systemic racism, drug policy impacts, intergenerational trauma, and responsible referrals.
- Safety, Ethics, and Responsibilities (OPF106)
- Total Hours: 12 (6 Live Online, 6 Self-Paced)
- Topics include facilitator bias, professional ethics, legal frameworks, client confidentiality, harm reduction, and risk mitigation.
- Preparation and Orientation (OPF107)
- Total Hours: 16 (8 Live Online, 8 Self-Paced)
- Topics include informed consent, trauma-informed communication, cultural dynamics, and client safety planning.
- Administration (OPF108)
- Total Hours: 20 (10 Live Online, 10 Self-Paced)
- Topics include dosing strategies, trauma management, and creating optimal set and setting conditions.
- Integration (OPF109)
- Total Hours: 12 (6 Live Online, 6 Self-Paced)
- Topics include interpreting emotional experiences, facilitating positive changes, and addressing safety concerns.
- In-Person Practicum (OPF110)

- Hands-on practice in facilitation, role-playing, non-drug-altered states techniques, case reviews, and cultural sensitivity workshops.
