Licensing Roadmap
How to Become an Oregon Psilocybin Facilitator
A clear, step-by-step roadmap from your first inquiry to becoming an Oregon-licensed psilocybin facilitator under Oregon Measure 109 rules.
Evaluate Eligibility & Experience
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Healthcare or mental health experience is beneficial, but individuals from diverse backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Complete an Approved Training Program
Graduate from an Oregon Psilocybin Services approved training program such as AAA Learning Institute (Standard 162-hour or Accelerated 114-hour curriculum), including a 40-hour supervised practicum.
Pass the State Licensing Examination
Following graduation from AAA Learning Institute, take and pass the official Oregon Psilocybin Services facilitator licensing examination administered by the Oregon Health Authority.
Submit State Licensure Application & Background Check
Submit your official application, state fee, and criminal background verification directly to Oregon Psilocybin Services. Facilitator licenses are issued directly by the state, not the training institution.
Important State Authority Clarification
AAA Learning Institute prepares you rigorously for licensure, but the State of Oregon (Oregon Psilocybin Services / Oregon Health Authority) is the sole licensing entity. The school does not issue licenses, make medical therapy promises, or guarantee job placement.
